About Our Game


In "Accounting for Time," players step into the worn-out shoes of Daryl, an office worker trapped in a cycle of abuse under the tyranny of his boss, Mr. X. Daryl's days are filled with menial tasks, belittlement, and constant criticism, leaving him demoralized and exhausted. However, Daryl discovers an unexpected escape from his torment: his dreams.


"Accounting for Time" is not just a game but a poignant narrative experience that explores themes of oppression, self-discovery, and the power of the human spirit. Through its immersive gameplay and heartfelt storytelling, it invites players to embark on a journey of introspection and triumph, inspiring them to confront their own demons and emerge stronger on the other side.

How to play...

🚶AWSD - movement
🎒I key - opens/closes inventory
👋Picking up items: left click
Inventory system: To use potions, open the inventory, hover over the potions (this will display a brief description of the item) and right-click
🗡️If you right-click on the sword, it will move to the quick slot panel (bottom center of the screen). After that, press 1 and it will appear in your hand. If you press 1 again, it will be hidden (but still in the quick slot panel)
🗡️Left-clicking with a sword in hand - hit
🏃Holding down the X key with AWSD - running
🤾Space - jump
⏸️The M key opens/closes the pause menu.
⚠️The pause menu is only available at the dungeon level
